No authority, according to Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi, can strip Bola Tinubu of his mandate as president-elect. He said that he had laughed when opponents challenged the results of the election on February 25 in court.

The All Progressives Congress, or APC, claimed victory in the state and throughout the nation, according to Umahi, who made the claim in Abakaliki.

He believes that individuals who want to overturn the tribunal’s decisions are merely squandering their time and money.

He added that “APC, as a party, merited all it got at the polls,

“When people say they are going to court or going to tribunal, I just laugh because there is no power or force that can remove Tinubu from being the President of Nigeria. This is because the time God would have stopped him, God allowed him [and] because God allowed him, no man can stop him,” he said.
