Nigerian comedian Josh Alfred, better known by his stage name Josh2Funny, has revealed the true motivation behind his recent appearance on America’s Got Talent, a globally acclaimed TV reality show.

He recently spoke with Punch about the true meaning of his participation, revealing that the show is producers had planned for him to be there specifically to provide comic relief.

“I was invited to the show to do what I do. I went there to display ‘Josh2funny’, which is what my comedy is about.

The 32-year-old comedian dazzled the audience with three hilarious appearances on the reality show as a quick reader, a quick rapper, and a quick magician.

Despite the fact that the majority of the judges were perplexed by his comic performance and gave him a “no” in all three attempts, Simon gave Josh a “yes” in his final attempt, praising his comedic abilities.
