Business figure and social influencer, Pascal Okechukwu, widely recognized as Cubana Chief Priest, has recently spoken out following his fulfillment of a bail requirement of N10 million with two equivalent sureties.
In an Instagram post shortly after his court appearance on Wednesday, Okechukwu asserted his financial prowess, stating that he considers money as abundant as water.
“Seeing all your messages and love. I’m so humbled. Now it’s confirmed CP (Cubana Priest) is not small. Money na water (sic),” he wrote.
As previously reported by The PUNCH, the Federal High Court in Lagos State granted bail in the amount of N10 million, along with a requirement of two sureties posting bail in a similar sum.
During his trial, the famous barman entered a plea of not guilty to charges of tampering with and abusing the naira. He faced arraignment before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on three counts related to the alleged spraying and tampering with the national currency at a social gathering, which is deemed contrary to the regulations outlined in the Central Bank Act of 2007.
