In preparation for his three-city tour of India with Chris Gayle, record-breaking Nigerian singer Rema is preparing to dazzle Indian audiences with his extraordinary talent.
The singer will make his debut appearance at JLN Stadium in New Delhi on May 12 as part of his worldwide “Rema Calm Down India Tour.”
The tour’s Mumbai stop, which will be held at the NSCI Dome on May 13th, looks to be even more exciting because Chris Gayle will be releasing the teaser for his brand-new tropical song, Oh Fatima.
Chris Gayle will perform on stage with Indian singer-songwriter and composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee.
Rema will host an Afro Rave event on May 14 at Prism in Hyderabad, complete with a stunning stage design.
Rema has expressed his excitement about visiting India and performing for his Indian fans, stating that he has always been fascinated by the country’s cultural landscape.
He gave thanks to Offline Guys, Yuvraj Entertainment, Grid Entertainment, and Afrodesh for helping to make this tour possible.
The opening acts include performers like Edward Maya, Karan Kanchan, Zahrah Khan, Riar Saab, Tsumyoki, Akash Ahuja, Pablo Dutta, Wicked Sunny, UNM MC Panda, Oh! Kalpanik, Kashish Rathore, Van Moon, DRV, DIVINE, Sickflip, DJ KAN-I, KAY-VEE, and DJ Scintillate.
A rotating illuminated horse carousel, inflatable neon mushrooms, dethorned roses, and metal barrels decorated with graffiti are just a few of the stunning stage decorations Rema has planned.
The performer will make several stage entrances on a lowrider-style bicycle, rickshaw, and quad bike, all while being accompanied by a 6 foot tall life-size stuffed teddy bear mascot.
A semi-vintage car and a house front will be among the technological marvels on the stage.
Rema has developed a following in India and is known as Nigeria’s Afro-Rave warrior.
His career highlights include performing as the halftime show headliner for the NBA All-Star Game.
His single Calm Down peaked at number six on the Billboard Top 100 chart, and his debut album Rave & Roses surpassed all other albums in Spotify’s history in terms of total streams.
