Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, a Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for governor in the recently completed election in Rivers State, asserted that the Buhari administration has created a better tomorrow for the Ogoni ethnic group.

A 100-bed hospital will be inaugurated in the state’s Tai local government area by Buhari, who is currently in Ogoniland.

Along with other projects of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) in Ogoniland, he is also anticipated to officially launch the construction of the Centre for Excellence and Independent Power Project at Wiiyaakara in Khana local government area.

In a press release sent out by his spokesman, Saroh Benson, in Port Harcourt yesterday, Abe praised the president for the groundbreaking ceremonies for several projects in Ogoni land.

According to the SDP candidate for governor, Buhari’s promises to the people of Ogoni have pleased them.

Even the next generation will remember President Buhari for his magnanimity, he said, and he deserves high praise. “President Buhari has demonstrated love, kindness, and most importantly, built a better tomorrow for the Ogoni today,” he said.
