During a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday, Obi called upon Tinubu to reintroduce himself to the Nigerian people and provide clarity regarding his personal information. The LP flagbearer also urged President Tinubu to specifically reveal his true name, place of origin, and details about his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) service.

In response to Obi’s press conference, Ajibola expressed on Channels Television’s Politics Today, that Tinubu does not require reintroduction because Nigerians are already well-acquainted with his qualifications. The former Senate Spokesman added that Atiku and Obi are grappling with the emotional distress of their repeated electoral losses, suggesting that they should undergo a “psychiatric evaluation.”

The APC official asserted that the former Vice President and former Governor of Anambra State should face charges of treason for questioning the President’s identity. However, the APC emphasized that Nigerians are well-informed about Tinubu’s credentials, making a fresh introduction unnecessary.

He said:

“I think Atiku and Obi should be charged with treason for questioning the identity of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

Obi must know that President Tinubu does not need a re-introduction. He does not have any identity problem, except the one contrived by the Atikus and Peters of our political firmament.

“As for President Tinubu’s academic record at the Chicago State University, the facts are clear and settled except for those political jaundiced by the trauma of electoral defeat.”
