Samuel Animashaun Perry, a comedian best known for using the stage name Broda Shaggi, has celebrated receiving his award at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Shaggi was named the winner of the ongoing event’s ‘Best Actor in a Comedy’ category.

In response to his crowning, the actor took to his Facebook page on Sunday to thank God for the honor.

He stated that winning the AMVCA award again after the 2022 edition was the result of hard work, emphasizing that hard work pays.

As indicated in his post, he said:

 “Winning this award is a reminder that Hard work, consistency dedication and perseverance pays off.

“Thank you Almighty God and to everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m beyond grateful and I owe it to you all.

“Special shout out to my ever supportive manager @Upanddownfellow.

“Here is to chasing even bigger dreams in the future!”
