Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, the governor of Bauchi State, has been elected as the new head of the PDP Governors’ Forum.

The declaration was made by the governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, in a press conference after a stakeholders retreat for elected PDP Governors and NASS members-elect that took place in Bauchi State on Saturday.

According to him, the meeting, which almost all of the party’s stakeholders attended, covered a wide range of topics, including how to advance the party’s ongoing cases before the various elections petition tribunals and the PEPC.

Bala Mohammed succeeds Aminu Tambuwal, who served as governor of Sokoto State most recently.
