Bosun Tijani, a contender for a ministry position, has drawn criticism for tweets he made four years ago in which he called Nigeria “a bloody costly tag.”

Tijani, the CEO and co-founder of CcHub, has already spoken with President Tinubu.

“Nigeria is a bloody expensive tag to carry against your name, he had said. Forget about patriotism for a second. That tag is a horrible energy waster. A second foreign passport won’t be enough to atone for the transgression.”

In response to Tijani’s nomination, one user going by the handle Abdul A Bello wrote, “I personally compiled screenshots of chosen Bosun Tijani toxic posts about Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former President Buhari, and many others. I forwarded it to the senator who represents my district so he could toss it on the House floor during Bosun’s ministerial screening. Bosuntijani referred to ASO ROCK as “AssholeRock” and that Nigeria was the incorrect nation to represent… Such people lack the patriotism necessary for such a position of power. Without further ado, I anticipate the @NGRSenate will reject this nomination.”

A person’s devotion to beliefs and values may be seen in their consistency in character, according to a tweet from @adeosunm. Being consistent entails acting steadily, predictably, and with integrity. In relationships, it promotes trust, respect, and reputation. Bosun Tijani lacks it.
