Sophia Momodu, the first babymama of Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reportedly taken legal action by issuing a cease and desist letter to the artist. Through her legal representative, Sophia asserts that she has been subjected to cyberbullying, threats, and intimidation from Davido’s fans.
The cease and desist letter calls on the singer to intervene and restrain his supporters within the next 48 hours. Failure to do so, Sophia’s legal team warns, will result in her pursuing all available legal remedies to address the situation.
Instagram blogger Cutie Juls has shed light on the ongoing dispute, disclosing some of Davido’s alleged unconventional requests and directives aimed at Sophia. The revelations include Sophia seeking $800 in compensation for Imade’s nanny, with payments scheduled to be made through her lawyers over a two-year period.
Furthermore, Cutie Juls claims that Sophia has instructed Davido to communicate with her through her legal representatives to facilitate visiting privileges and prevent negative publicity. The blog post notes that, while the matter remains in court, Davido’s father is currently taking care of Imade’s needs.
