Ozioko Anene Nelson, also known as “Nelson Cool,” has shed light on the reasons why upcoming and established musicians keep disappearing from the country music scene. Unquestionably a dynamic talent, the Nigerian-born Afrobeat singer and songwriter deserves to be on your radar. His fusion of modern and Nigerian influences, which he incorporates into his distinctive sound, has elevated him to the top echelons of the artistic community.

Despite the fact that Nigeria’s music industry has expanded considerably over the years, Nelson Cool believes that the nation can support these music businesses much more effectively than it could by only having a few artists who are truly themselves.  He pointed out that while the well-known performers are always in style, many other genuine talents go unnoticed.  “The music industry is very large and expanding daily, with many difficulties and a few people attempting to take advantage of new artists while pretending to be helpful. This “help” accomplishes nothing concrete and always puts up-and-coming and independent artists at a disadvantage.  The country alone is a huge challenge because nothing helps upcoming and independent artist like us in the industry and this highlights the reason why lot of talents are wasted”, he stated.

With his distinctive sound and style, the up-and-coming musician has been making waves in the Nigerian music scene. He has released a number of popular songs and music videos, including “Para” in 2019, “Corona leave us” with Jaywillz in 2020, and his “My heart” EP, which includes the songs “beautiful” and “linda.”  Nelson Cool’s music has been featured on a lot of playlists and received lots of nominations for prizes. His most recent song, “Onome,” has recently been added to some Apple Music playlists and has been regularly played on the radio.

Nelson Cool, who is from Nsukka in Enugu State was born on the 27th of August 1997, he was port raised in port Harcourt city before finally moved to
