Mrs Amma Buwa, the daughter of Bukar Abacha, the legislator representing the Ngala constituency in the Borno State House of Assembly, has tragically lost her life.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on a Tuesday at her residence in Maiduguri while her husband was away at a nearby mosque for prayers.
Upon returning, the husband discovered his wife’s lifeless body inside their home, with her hands and legs bound behind her and their two-year-old child crying nearby.
He promptly took the deceased to the police station.
Subsequently, the Gwange Police Division transported the body to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for both an autopsy and further investigation.
A family source, sharing this distressing news on a Facebook page, mentioned that the deceased would be laid to rest the following morning in Maiduguri.
“Inna lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un. Mrs Amma Buwa was killed by some hoodlums earlier today after Isha prayer when some unknown men invaded her house after her husband left for the masjid for Isha prayer.
“Amma is the daughter of member Representing Ngala at the State House of Assembly.
“The janaiza (burial) will take place at 777 Housing Estate by 10am in Maiduguri.
“May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” the source wrote.
