According to President Bola Tinubu, he has no desire to profit from fuel subsidies.

Subsidies, according to the president, are used by the country’s opponents to destroy its economy.

He believed that under no circumstances could the nation continue to suffer due to the regime of oil subsidies.

At a ceremony held in his honour by the Lagos State Government on Thursday, Tinubu made this statement.

To fulfil the promise we made to Nigerians throughout our campaign, Tinubu stated, “We would require the appropriate resources.”

“We need to stem the financial bleeding by ending the unfair exchange regime and fuel subsidies. We are powerless.

“In order to reach our objectives, we must re-engineer the efficiency of our control and management of our resources.
