Formerly known as Buju, Nigerian singer-songwriter Daniel Benson, aka BNXN, has stated his desire to win the Grammy, the most prestigious music award in the world, in the near future.

The afrobeats superstar claims that his goal is to become a legend in the Nigerian music scene.

Along with Ayra Starr and Victony, BNXN covered Africa’s New Wave for Teen Vogue.

The singer of “Finesse” claimed that whether or not he wins a Grammy, he wants to make music history.

“It is nice to win [the Next Rated Artist Headies Award in 2022], but it is not something I really wanted. I’m going to get a Grammy just doing what I do.

“I am trying to become legendary. No matter whether I win a Grammy, I want to take this enjoyment to the next level.
