On September 18, popular actress Iyabo Ojo announced a gathering in Lagos State to demand justice for the late musician Mohbad during an Instagram Live session.
In order to underscore the demand for justice on behalf of the deceased, Ojo, who has been outspoken about the matter of Mohbad’s death, said that her NGO and foundation would be sending letters to “respectable” offices such as the governor’s and foreign authorities.
She encouraged performers to take part in the contemplative stroll that was scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday.
The two-time mother remarked, “Governor Sanwo Olu. Please utilise your good offices, sir. You must make sure that all of these investigations are conducted.
“We don’t want an audio investigation. We failed when he was alive. This one he had to pay the ultimate price. We parents are bringing the revolution to reality. The autopsy must be done. When I met him, he was so disturbed. He was so paranoid.
“My lawyer will write to you. My foundation will write to you one after the other. My foundation will send out a letter. We are sending the letter on Monday to all the respectable offices. And we are sending it to international bodies.
“We are coming to your office on Tuesday or Wednesday. So that you can understand that we need justice. We are going to do a peaceful rally.”
