President Bola Tinubu arrived back in Abuja on Sunday after an absence of nearly two weeks from the federal capital city. His departure from Abuja took place 13 days ago when he traveled to Paris to participate in the Summit on New Global Financing Pact. After the summit, Tinubu proceeded to the United Kingdom for a private visit before returning to Nigeria last Tuesday.
However, instead of landing directly in Abuja, President Tinubu flew straight to Lagos, where he spent time observing the Eid-el-Kabir holiday. During his stay in Lagos, he held meetings with traditional rulers and received a private visit from Umaro Sissoco Embalo, the President of Guinea-Bissau.
At approximately 2:30 pm on Sunday, President Tinubu landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, marking his return to the federal capital city.
