Tope Alabi, a seasoned gospel preacher from Nigeria who is currently on tour and performing in the United States, said that her biggest joy and witness was the sheer number of people who came forward to commit their lives to Christ.

The well-known gospel singer recounted touring seven cities, including Maryland, Chicago, Dallas, Cincinnati, and Houston. She added that people were calling in to praise God for the prophesies that also came true while she was ministering.

Tope Alabi stated, “The US tour for 2023 has been great and awesome, in an interview with newsmen. I thank the Lord Almighty for this since the movement and turnout were quite encouraging. Particularly in Maryland, Chicago, and Dallas, people really showed up. Many attended other church-wide programmes as well. It was simply the anxiety of travelling between cities. Yet our strength is in God.

“It has been a while since we have been to the US. It has been about four to five years; that is why this year’s tour is like that. The most important thing is the testimony of people giving their lives to Christ. I do altar calls at every point in time and people come out to give their lives to Christ. And that is the most important thing. And that is the most important reason for this tour and God is taking charge of that. Another thing is that the prophecies are coming out and people are testifying. After we leave every city, people call us to confirm these prophecies and we thank God.”

Speaking on a special programme, “Praise the Almighty” coming up on June 23 in Texas, Tope Alabi urged every participant to look forward to the awesome moves of God.

She said, “For “Praise the Almighty”, the very first time in the US. It is coming up on the 23rd of June. People should just come and see Jesus. When you look up, you see Jesus, when you look down, you see people. People can turn you down at any time. So people should come, we all are to come together and worship him. We worship him for who He is.

“What God told me is that He is going to turn lives around. It is going to be an encounter that people will not forget. For people that are believing God for one thing or the other, they will see God at work. It is ever sure. I heard that clearly.

“Whenever I am doing a progamme, I always tell people that they are coming to experience what they never experienced before.”

Speaking on the general turnout of the US tour, she added, “Yeah right now, we are almost rounding off already. We have been to about seven cities and we repeated two cities because we had praise programmes there and we had church programmes there. Houston is the last concert and Dallas for the location and Dallas for the church ministration.”
